Most animals have their priorities straight. I'm astonished that (thanks to the supreme court) our nation spent $6 billion on presidential campaigns. I'd like to see someone (qualified) run - and win - on a shoe string budget, allocating the shortfall to those who truly need assistance. Shame on our elected officials and double shame on us for allowing them to get away with it. :(
