But, to this end, it will not be necessary for
me to show that the whole of these are funny – a point, perhaps, which I shall
often times entertain; but as even now my reason convinces me that I ought not
perceive the world one-sided, I can instead adorn a pair of 3D glasses and
perceive everything (blue) as funny (red). In this sense, it will not be
necessary to deal with each belief individually, unless it relates to me, for
this would be an endless labor; but, as situations arise (blue), I will look
first through the rose colored lens to see if I can find something humorous
about it. This minimizes the shock effect.
