Comicentary 

noun (pl. commicentaries)

an expression of opinions or offering of explanations in comic form about an event or situation: a political comicentary / narrative overlaid with comicentary.

  • a descriptive drawn account (esp. in comic books or news broadcasts) of an event or performance as it happens
  • a set of explanatory or critical notes on a text: a comicentary on the economy

ORIGIN late Middle English: from Latin comicentarius, comicentarium (adjective, used as a noun), from comicentari, frequentative of comicinisci 'devise.'
